Inclusive growth has become a major concern for economies, especially with the growing phenomenon of jobless growth. Indeed, assessing sector’s potential for job creation is a crucial step in any policy that aims to an economic growth with high job creation. In this work, our purpose is to determine empirically the elasticity of employment at sectoral level in Morocco over the period 1970-2012. Using the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator based on an error-correction model, the study reveals the existence of a long-run relationship between growth and employment.
