  The role of education is very important nowadays, considering that humans need to practice different ways of knowing. The teacher is a bridge of knowledge and learning for the student and therefore require continuing education, always seeking the common good in a teaching unit. When speaking of the teacher as the master clock reflection on its role of critical thinking in the face of reality , one also speaks of the urgent need for this will take a questioning stance. Methodologically this article is the result of a literature search and has the general objective of encouraging critical juncture of schoolteachers . When referring to the formation of the individual, the call to reflect on how they can foster the attitude of the teacher , to be transformed into forming consciousness arises. This research aims at realizing a reminder about the need for theming the person of the teacher as a change agent and social orientation. The sharp call of philosophical attention reinforces the call to awaken this critical and reflective spirit , with which philosophy can promote the teaching in our society of constant change and immediate improvements . Teachers should not only lead the student to memorize formulas and definitions , but teach them to reflect on what they learn . And it is precisely here that we encounter the issue of teacher training . Thus , we conclude that teacher training is essential for true change of person and social dynamics.

  O papel de educar é de grande importância na contemporaneidade, haja vista que o ser humano precisa colocar em prática diversas formas de saber. O docente é a ponte de conhecimento e aprendizagem para o educando e por isso necessita de formação continuada, visando sempre o bem comum em uma unidade de ensino. Quando se fala do professor como mestre da reflexão em seu papel de despertador do senso crítico diante da realidade, fala-se também da urgente necessidade de que esse venha a assumir uma postura questionadora. Metodologicamente esse artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e tem como objetivo geral incentivar a articulação crítica dos docentes da educação básica. Ao referir-se sobre a formação do individuo, surge o chamado a refletir sobre o modo como se pode fomentar a postura do professor, para que seja transformado em formador de consciência. A presente pesquisa visa realizar uma chamada de atenção sobre a necessidade de tematização da pessoa do professor como agente de mudança e orientação social. A acentuada chamada de atenção filosófica reforça o convite ao despertar deste espírito crítico e reflexivo, com o qual a filosofia pode favorecer ao magistério em nossa sociedade de constantes mudanças e avanços imediatos. Os docentes não devem apenas levar o aluno a decorar formulas e definições, mas ensiná-los a refletir sobre o que aprendem. E é exatamente aqui que nos deparamos na questão da formação do professor. Assim, concluímos que a formação dos professores é essencial para a verdadeira mudança da pessoa e da dinâmica social.
