This paper shows different collaborative learning activities implemented in physics courses for junior engineering students at Tecnolo Âgico de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus. The application of the Jigsaw Learning Procedure to physics courses is described in detail, and the results obtained show that the average grade of students working collaboratively using the Jigsaw Technique is about 10% higher than that of students working only individually on the same kind of assignments. It was also found that students improve their collaborative competences in later courses of their curriculum.
