Resumen de La creatividad en los estudiantes universitarios. Una investigación psicométrica en la República Dominicana

La investigación plantea la hipótesis de que existe una asociación significativa entre la capacidad creativa y la percepción visual. El objetivo del estudio es demostrar que la respuesta kinestésica en el test de Rorschach es un índice predictivo de la creatividad del estudiante universitario; y que, en consecuencia, cualquier modificación del factor kinestésico puede influir en su talento creador. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la correlación entre el número de respuestas kinestésicas y el puntaje en el Test CREA A es alta y positiva (r=.798), así como también la correlación entre el número de respuestas kinestésicas y el puntaje en el Test PIC-A (r=.75).

This research advances the hypothesis that there is a significant correlation between creative abilities and visual perception. The goal of this research is to demonstrate that the movement response in the Rorschach Test is a predictor of the university students’ creativity; and, consequently, that any change in the movement factor might affect his or her creativity. For sure, the results show that the correlation between the amount of movement responses and the score in the Crea A Test is a high positive one (r=.798)as is the one between the amount of movement responses and the PIC-A Test (r=.75)
