      RESUMENEn este artículo de revisión se analizan las actuaciones del Consejo de Participación Ciudadana y Control Social Transitorio, creado mediante Consulta Popular en el año 2018 en Ecuador. Pues en el ejercicio de éstas, la entidad indicada, extralimitó sus atribuciones otorgadas por la voluntad popular y la Constitución, en la evaluación y cese de autoridades, puntualmente de los miembros de la Corte Constitucional. Por lo anteriormente expuesto el objetivo es determinar cómo estas actuaciones vulneraron derechos constitucionales de las autoridades indicadas. La metodología científica investigativa parte del paradigma cualitativo. Se concluye que las actuaciones del CPCCST, vulneraron los derechos de los magistrados de la Corte Constitucional al Debido proceso, por ser juzgadas por una autoridad incompetente para hacerlo y a la seguridad jurídica por la falta de respeto a las normas previas de las que toda autoridad pública tiene la obligación de precautelar en el ejercicio de sus funciones.

    This review article analyzes the actions of the Council for Citizen Participation and Temporary Social Control, created through a Popular Consultation in 2018 in Ecuador. For in the exercise of these, the indicated entity, exceeded its powers granted by the popular will and the Constitution, in the evaluation and cessation of authorities, punctually of the members of the Constitutional Court. Therefore, the objective is to determine how these actions violated constitutional rights of the indicated authorities. The scientific research methodology starts from the qualitative paradigm. It is concluded that the actions of the CPCCST, violated the rights of the judges of the Constitutional Court to Due Process, for being judged by an incompetent authority to do so and legal certainty for the lack of respect for the previous rules of which any public authority It has the obligation to be cautious in the exercise of its functions.
