Resumen de La mediación pedagógica de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación: una vía para el desarrollo cultural del escolar rural. (Revisión)

  En este artículo se fundamenta la importancia y papel que juegan las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC), como mediación pedagógica en el proceso de formación cultural que se desarrolla en las escuelas primarias del sector rural. Se utilizan la teoría del enfoque histórico cultural de Vygotsky, los conceptos de TIC, mediación pedagógica, formación informática y formación cultural como fundamentos esenciales para referir el papel del maestro, los escolares, las familias y la comunidad  en la formación cultural mediada por las tecnologías, así como las acciones y actividades más importantes que pueden desarrollarse, tanto desde lo curricular, en las asignaturas priorizadas como la Matemática, Lengua Española e Historia, como las actividades extracurriculares que se desarrollan en la comunidad rural y que contribuyen a la formación cultural de sus ciudadanos. Se ofrecen alternativas para utilizar los equipos y tecnologías disponibles como paneles solares, computadoras, tablets, teléfonos móviles, televisores, videos y otros en función del aprendizaje y formación de la cultura general integral de los escolares del sector rural y sus familias.

  This article is based on the importance and role played by the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), as pedagogical mediation in the process of cultural training that takes place in the primary schools in the rural sector. The theory of the cultural historical approach of Vygotsky, the concepts of ICT, pedagogical mediation, computer formation and cultural formation are used as essential foundations to refer to the role of the teacher, the pupils, the families and the community in the cultural formation mediated by the technologies, as well as  the most important actions and activities that can be developed, both from the curricular level, in the prioritized subjects such as Mathematics, Spanish Language and History, as well as the extracurricular activities that are developed in the rural community and that contribute to the cultural formation of its citizens. Alternatives are offered to use the available equipment and technologies such as solar panels, computers, tablets, mobile phones, televisions, videos and in function of the learning and formation of the integral general culture of the pupils of the rural sector and their families.
