    Hay pocos manuscritos castellanos que contengan textos de visitas pastorales realizadas por los obispos en persona durante los últimos siglos medievales. Sin embargo, se presenta una investigación detallada a partir de la documentación existente para señalar los aspectos más importantes de las visitas hechas a arcedianatos y arciprestazgos y hacer inventario de los obispos visitadores.

    Few Castilian manuscripts contain the texts of pastoral visits personally undertaken by bishops during the late medieval centuries. Nevertheless, a detailed investigation based on the extant documentation is presented to indicate the most important aspects of visits to archdeaconries and archpriestships and to establish an inventory of visiting bishops.
