Resumen de Arquitectura del siglo XIX. Estado de la cuestión respecto a su estudio y algunas propuestas de investigación

  A pesar de que la arquitectura decimonónica bilbaina, sobre todo la que hace referencia a la arquitectura eléctrica, supone un alto porcentaje del patrimonio de la ciudad, su estudio, hasta el momento, ha merecido una escasa atención. Tras exponer algunas de las posibles causas de esta situación se hace un recorrido por las Fuentes Documentales, la Bibliografía, así como los trabajos y estudios a que ha dado lugar, al tiempo que se reseñan algunos de los aspectos que, a pesar de su interés, permanecen aún pendientes de investigar.

  In spite of the fact that Bilbao’s architecture of the XIX century, especially its eclectic architecture, represents a high percentage of the city’s patrimony, its study until the present has received scarce attention. After explaining some of the possible causes for this situation, a review is made of the Documentary Sources and the Bibliography, as well as of the works and studies the subject has given rise to; at the same time, an outline is given of some of the aspects that are still awaiting research in spite of the interest they hold.

Hau zergatik gerta daitekeen azalduta, dokumentazio eta bibliografi iturrietan eta egindako lan eta ikerlanetan sakonduta, interesgarriak diren arren ikertu gabe dauden hainbat alderdi aipatu egiten ditu egileak.
