Resumen de Un art de dire désinvolte

Roman Wald Lasowski

  • Libertine literature — exemplified by Crébillon 's novels — consists of dialogue barely anchored in time and space through « small details », actually part of the dialogue's economy of exchange. Verbal exchange, characteristic of an XVIIIth century literary social imaginary, is in homology with sexual exchange-implying paradoxes between intimacy and sociability. An art of distracted dialogue and eroticism results.
