    El sistema de transporte colectivo en la articulación del Gran Santo Domingo, es una investigación de carácter urbanístico, que analiza la situación actual de la movilidad en el territorio metropolitano perteneciente al Distrito Nacional y la Provincia de Santo Domingo y destaca la necesidad de generar un ordenamiento urbano propicio que integre el territorio metropolitano y proporcione a la ciudad los ejes estratégicos que alberguen las principales rutas de transporte masivo, con la finalidad de producir CIUDAD y con ello mejorar la calidad de vida de sus habitantes.

    The study of the public transportation system of the Great Santo Domingo, is a research of city-planning character, that analyzes the present situation of mobility in the metropolitan territory pertaining to the National District and the Province of Santo Domingo and emphasizes the necessity to generate a propitious urban order that could integrate the metropolitan territory and provide the strategic axes to the city that lodge the main transportation routes, with the purpose of producing a CITY condition and to improve the life quality of the inhabitants.
