    Para la presente ocasión hemos decidido hacer un análisis sobre una sentencia proferida por el Consejo de Estado recientemente, específicamente en el mes de septiembre del presente año. Después de haber hecho una búsqueda exhaustiva en materia de Jurisprudencia para encontrar un tema novedoso, elegimos la presente sentencia dado que es de actualidad nacional y estuvo por varios días en la mira de los medios de comunicación, así mismo no se ha dado un debate de fondo aún, sino que se aplicó el mecanismo de medidas cautelares. Lo sustancial de la materia radica en una discusión en torno a la libertad de cultos, amparada en diversas disposiciones constitucionales y que para el actor de la demanda se ven transgredidas en virtud de la celebración del Te Deum cada año el 20 de julio.

    For the present occasion we have decided to make an analysis of a judicial sentence rendered by the State Council recently, specifically on September of the present year. After having done an exhaustive research of Jurisprudence in order to find an innovative topic, we have chosen the present judgment because it’s a topic of national life, and it was several days in the gun-sight of the mass media, in addition there has not been a deep debate on the matter; on the contrary, precautionary measures have been fully implemented so far. The importance of the topic is determined by the religious liberties given the constitutional regulation, the complainant argues that liberty is not being respected because of the celebration of the religious ceremony Te Deum the 20th of July
