Buildings and other infrastructures suffer degradation over time and rehabilitation work to make improvements or for a change in use poses different challenges than those that are built anew. Appropriate measures must be taken to ensure that surrounding buildings and infrastructures are not altered. This paper studies the pathologies found in the parish church of San Ildefonso in Salorino (Cáceres) during remodeling work carried out in 2005 on the square surrounding it. The study uses geometric auscultation of the building using the comparison of geomatic techniques (terrestrial laser scanner, short-range scanner, high precision levelling and fissurometer) to assess the dynamic of the pathology. Geomatic measurements were first taken (November 2016 and April 2017) and later applied to the restoration work (July 2018). No significant movements were detected.
