Resumen de ¿Es necesario implementar el modelo de justicia restaurativa en Colombia para lograr la paz?

El presente artículo de investigación tiene como objetivo demostrar que el modelo de justicia restaurativa, incorporado explícitamente en el acuerdo de paz firmado por el gobierno colombiano y la guerrilla de las FARC-EP, es conveniente para Colombia. La justica retributiva no ha tenido buenos resultados y la reincidencia de los delincuentes es alarmante. El modelo de justicia restaurativa permite el acercamiento entre las víctimas y victimarios, el establecimiento de la verdad y la reinserción a la sociedad; es un modelo que abre las puertas a momentos de encuentro y entendimiento de los hechos, que a largo plazo logra disminuir los deseos de venganza, desesperación y desesperanza. Colombia, durante los próximos años debe contar con un modelo de justica que evite la repetición de los sucesos acontecidos y promueva el progreso del país; es decir que es esencial tener una herramienta que permita sanar las heridas y el dolor presente durante más de cincuenta años en todo el territorio nacional. Es un modelo nuevo para Colombia, que intenta generar un cambio en la sociedad y una solución definitiva del conflicto armado que durante tanto tiempo afectó al país.

These research article aims at the argument that the model of restorative justice, explicitly incorporated in the peace agreement signed by the Colombian government and the FARC-EP, is convenient for Colombia. The retributive justice has not good results and the recidivism of the delinquents is alarming. The model of restorative justice allows the rapprochement between victims and perpetrators, the establishment of truth and reinsertion into society; is a model that opens the doors to a moment of encounter and understanding of the facts, that a long term manages to diminish the desires of revenge, despair and hopelessness. Colombia, during the next few years must have a model of justice that avoids the repetition of events that occurred in previous years and promotes the country’s progress, it is essential to have a tool that allows healing of wounds and pain present for more than fifty years throughout the country. It is a new model for Colombia, which seeks to generate a change in society and allow the fundamental solution of the armed conflict that has affected the country for so long.
