    Los servicios de salud privados de la ciudad de Cuenca, consideran imperioso a más de la aplicación de dichas herramientas, la necesidad de poder conocer la rentabilidad de las diferentes unidades de negocios o centros de costos de los diferentes bienes o servicios que ofrecen al mercado para ello el presente artículo tiene como propósito investigar la correcta estructuración, análisis e implementación de centros de costo, lo cual permitirá tener una clara visión para poder tomar las mejores decisiones financieras que garanticen la obtención de resultados exitosos, objetivo fundamental de toda organización. La investigación aplicada es de tipo no experimental pues se busca recopilar información que permita conocer la realidad sobre la aplicación de centros de costos en servicios de salud privados. Es de tipo mixta, conservando un enfoque cualitativo

    The private health services of the city of Cuenca consider the need to be able to know the profitability of the different business units or cost centers of the different goods or services that they offer to the market for more than the application of these tools.

    Therefore, the purpose of this article is to investigate the correct structuring, analysis and implementation of cost centers, which will allow us to have a clear vision in order to make the best financial decisions that guarantee successful results, the fundamental objective of any organization. The applied research is of a non-experimental type as it seeks to collect information that allows knowing the reality of the application of cost centers in private health services. It is of a mixed type, retaining a qualitative approach.
