Resumen de Hacia un enfoque gestual del componente armónico tonal
Gestual harmony is a discursive form of harmony and it is the product of the movement of the harmonic component, in a signficant interaction with the other musical components. The article emphasizes the kinetic energetic nature of harmonic gesture, considering it as a sensitive process. I refer not only to the level of auditory stimulus, represented by the notation, but also to the level of contents, emotions, associations, values, stylish traits, ideological connotations, linked to music and represented by the models of thought emerging throughout the history of Western music.
