Resumen de Qual o perfil do jogral proposto pelas Cantigas de Santa Maria?

In this article we propose to analyze the expectations that the Cantigas de Santa Maria by the king Afonso X of León and Castela (1252- 1284) reveal regarding the concept of jongleur, to then counter the specialized bibliography, including the analysis of the legal work Siete Partidas, also conceived by Afonso X. This theoretical-methodological proposal is not based on the principle of adapting the sources to a predefined theory, but rather on the investigation of the jongleur from the sources and then contextualize this information, given that the jongleur activity had at the court of Afonso X one of his greatest patrons during the thirteenth century.

Neste artigo nos propomos a analisar as expectativas que as Cantigas de Santa Maria de autoria do rei Afonso X de Leão e Castela (1252- 1284) revelam quanto ao conceito de jogral, para em seguida contrapor a bibliografia especializada, incluindo a análise das Siete Partidas, obra jurídica também concebida por Afonso X. Nossa proposta teórico-metodológica não parte do princípio de adaptar as fontes a uma teoria prédefinida, mas sim da investigação dos jograis a partir das fontes para em seguida contextualizar estas informações, dado que a atividade jogralesca teve na corte de Afonso X um de seus maiores mecenas durante o século XIII.
