El presente artículo es una contribución al estudio del liberalismo educativo en Venezuela especialmente en el siglo XX y en un periodo que planta las bases del sistema educativo y Estado Docente actual, en el tiempo que va desde 1936 a 1948. Este recibe un notable reimpulso durante el periodo mencionado por influjo del cada vez más presente sistema económico –social capitalista que requería una Sociedad mucho más tecnificada y presta a laborar bajo su égida sin contratiempo. Así la Educación primaria fue la punta de lanza, la cual se organiza e instrumenta entre 1936 y 1948 teniendo como artífice fundamental, activo y decidido a Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, quien se convirtió en su promotor apuntalando el sistema educativo liberal burgués en Venezuela. Es claro que el importante trabajo en pro de la educación realizado por el insigne maestro se presentó como novedoso y revolucionario para el momento argumentando una educación de masas y pregonando la tesis del Humanismo Democrático. Este reimpulso contó con un gran debate pedagógico y político de tres vertientes filosóficas de la Venezuela de entonces la socialdemocracia, la socialcristiana y la marxista, siendo la primera de manos del renombrado maestro y del Partido político Acción Democrática la que se impuso apuntalando la educación en las postreras décadas del siglo XX

This article is a contribución to the study of Educational Liberalism in Venezuela especially in the twentieth century and in a period that lays the foundations of the educacional system and the current State of educación in the period that goes from 1936 to 1948. It receives a remarkable reimpulse during the period mencionated because of the presence of the Economic - Social Capitalist system that required a society more technified and lends to cooperate under its control. Thus the educación was the first spearhead which was organized and coordinated by the activist and leader teacher Luis Beltrán Prietro Figueroa.He became in the promotor and supporter of the liberal bourgeois educational system in Venezuela. This important work done in favor to the education by this great teacher was presented like a new and revolucionary work to that moment, which arguing an education mass and promoting the thesis of Democratic Humanism. It made a great political and pedagogical debate of the main three philosofhical groups in Venezuela of that time: the social - democracy, the social - christian and the marxism. The liberal burgeois educational system was imposted by the renamed teacher Luis Beltran Prietro Figueroa and this political party Democratic - Accion during the twenttieth century
