México
Study of the performance of Mexican economy in the context of economic crisis and reevaluation of the proposals that go against the advice of the Washington consensus. The results expected from the implementation of the reforms are strongly questioned by means of the exposition of the Mexican economy performance. The author examines the neoliberal strategy, the indiscriminate trade openness, liberalization, and the minimized role of the state and its impact on all economic sectors. In the light of the manifest failure of such policies, he suggests the construction of strategies oriented towards development with equity by means of economic policies that deal with objectives undermined by the neoliberal project.
