Resumen de Haciendo lo invisible, visible: el uso del arte comprometido y feminista en la educación secundaria. Una propuesta didáctica

  Los estudios sobre arte comprometido y arte feminista son inexistentes en el currículo de los estudios de secundaria y bachillerato de cualquier país, pero esto no debe ser un obstáculo para poder introducirlos en dichos estudios. En este trabajo se presenta un diseño de Unidad Didáctica orientada al aprendizaje del arte comprometido y feminista dentro de la materia de Arte Contemporáneo. Dicha unidad está completamente programada para que el profesorado la pueda utilizar directamente en clase. El objetivo es que el alumnado llegue, por sí mismo y bajo la dirección del docente, a conocer, analizar y valorar el arte realizado por artistas, que no siempre son mujeres. Estos artistas pretenden que se llegue a comprender la desigualdad que significa ser mujer en diferentes ámbitos socioculturales, como es el caso de Estados Unidos y España. Este mismo diseño de unidad didáctica, con ligeras adaptaciones, puede ser aplicado en cualquier país del mundo.

  Studies on socially conscious contemporary art and feminist art are non-existent in the curriculum of secondary and high school studies in any country, but this should not be an obstacle to be able to introduce them into such studies. This work presents a design of a Didactic Unit oriented to learning about socially conscious and feminist art within the subject of Contemporary Art. This unit is teacher-friendly and classroom-ready. The objective is that students get to know, analyze, and value the contributions made by artists --- who are not always women --- by themselves and under the direction of the teacher. These artists seek to understand the inequality of being a woman in different socio-cultural spheres, as is the case in the United States and Spain. This same didactic unit design, with slight adaptations, can be applied in any country in the world.
