Resumen de La piel como “órgano social”. Un abordaje médico humanista

Este proceso de indagación inicia con la búsqueda e interés de la investigadora por encontrar textos médicos que unifiquen la parte científica exacta con la parte científica social que deberían componer todo trabajo cuyo objeto de estudio sea lo humano, ante lo difícil y casi nulo que se tornó encontrar una tendencia de investigación que una estos dos enfoques, iniciamos un primer documento que pretende darle al ser humano con afectación en su salud, en este caso de la piel es decir, dermatológica, un rostro social que vaya más allá de la clínica, una visión un tanto holística del paciente que incluya a la persona y sus relaciones y acciones con y en su entorno. En un intento por darle forma y unidad a dos elementos que hasta el día de hoy han sido vistos por muchos investigadores como separados hemos utilizado aquí un enfoque sobre la piel, como sujeto político o social debido a que la piel es el órgano que sirve como carta de presentación del cuerpo humano hacia el exterior de ahí que utilicemos el nombre de “órgano político/ social”, por ende anclado en todos los deberes y restricciones que se le imponen al propio cuerpo.
Desde nuestro enfoque planteamos distintas maneras en que el cuerpo humano (desde el órgano de la piel) entra en un mecanismo de poder que lo explora, lo desarticula y lo recompone, transformándolo en una “piel social”.

This process of inquiry begins with the researcher's search and interest in finding medical texts that unify the exact scientific part with the social scientific part that should compose all work whose object of study is human, given how difficult and almost null it became. To find a research trend that unites these two approaches, we started a first document that aims to give the human being affected by their health, in this case the skin, that is, dermatological, a social face that goes beyond the clinic, a somewhat holistic view of the patient that includes the person and their relationships and actions with and in their environment. In an attempt to give form and unity to two elements that until today have been seen by many researchers as separate, we have used here a focus on the skin, as a political or social subject, because the skin is the organ that serves as a letter of presentation of the human body to the exterior, hence we use the name of “political/social organ”, therefore anchored in all the duties and restrictions that are imposed on the body itself. From our perspective, we propose different ways in which the human body (from the skin organ) enters a power mechanism that explores it, breaks it up and recomposes it, transforming it into a “social skin”.
