    The occurrence of iatrogenic tendinopathies is rare but nevertheless underestimated. Certain risk factors have been identified and include being over the age of 60, existing frailty and the taking of medications known for their tendon toxicity. The pharmacist must be able to warn the patient when dispensing the specialities concerned. This painful condition can also occur in other circumstances such as the overuse of the tendon.

    La survenue de tendinopathies iatrogènes est rare mais néanmoins sous-évaluée. Des facteurs de risque ont été identifiés : un âge supérieur à 60 ans, l’existence d’une fragilité et la prise de médicaments connus pour leur toxicité tendineuse. Le pharmacien doit savoir mettre en garde le patient lors de la dispensation des spécialités concernées.
