Aunque, en los EEUU los asuntos internacionales y de seguridad no suelen aparecer en las primarias, estos temas cada vez son más importantes. Siguiendo la línea marcada por el propio Barack Obama cuando dio un paso decisivo hacia la Casa Blanca al introducir el problema de Pakistán en un debate televisado, hoy los asuntos internacionales empiezan a ser cada vez más importantes en los debates entre los candidatos, especialmente entre aquellos con más posibilidades.
Con la carrera por la nominación muy clara a favor de Mitt Romney, sobre todo después de la retirada de Santorum, encontramos que el ex gobernador de Massachusetts no es solamente el que más posibilidades tiene de derrotar al Presidente Obama sino el candidato que más se adecúa a los postulados del Partido Republicano.

With the race for the nomination clear for Mitt Romney, especially after the withdrawal of Santorum, we found that the former Massachusetts governor who is not only the most likely to defeat President Obama as the candidate but also the one that best fits to the tenets of the Republican Party.
