  • Over the past decade, many companies focused their energies on better manufacturing quality as a source of competitive improvement. However, today, some companies are finding that far greater gains can be made through an attention to the new product introduction process. In particular, this paper discusses some of the benefits that are being obtained through designing for quality and reliability.
