Resumen de Fraguas e a arqueoloxía galega na segunda metade do s. XX

A summary tour of Galician archaeology is made in the second half of the twentieth century. It starts with the work of Antonio Fraguas in the Lugo area, analysing the fundamental role of the Section of Archaeology and Prehistory of the P. Sarmiento Institute of Galician Studies, especially in the 70s and 80s, years in which he promoted works and researchs by bringing together people from museums, from the university field and from other social spheres.

O presente traballo realiza un percorrido resumido pola arqueoloxía galega na segunda metade do século XX, partindo dos traballos de Antonio Fraguas na zona lucense e analizando o papel fundamental da Sección de Arqueoloxía e Prehistoria do Instituto de Estudios Gallegos Padre Sarmiento, sobre todo nas décadas dos anos 70 e 80, en que promoveu traballos e investigacións aglutinando persoas de museos, da universidade e doutros ámbitos sociais.
