    La Plataforma de Almería, PSA-CIEMAT, participa en proyectos de colaboración en Filipinas y Tailandia financiados por la Comisión Europea para aumentar la sostenibilidad del desarrollo turístico utilizando energía solar. En un primer proyecto, Zero Carbon Resorts I, una implementación progresiva de la metodología 3R (“reducir”, “reemplazar”, “rediseñar”) consiguió ahorros considerables (más de 660 MWh/año de energía y unos 10 500 m3/año de agua) en el sector turístico de Palawan (Filipinas).     Almería Solar Platform, PSA-CIEMAT, participates in cooperation projects in the Philippines and Thailand, which are financed by the European Commission in order to increase the sustainability of tourism development using solar energy. In a first project, Zero Carbon Resorts I, the progressive implementation of the 3R methodology (“Reduce”, “Replace”, “Redesign”) meant significant savings were achieved (more than 660 MWh/year of energy and about 10 500 m3/year of water) in the Palawan tourism sector (Philippines). Through a second project (Zero Carbon Resorts II), the implementation is being extended to the rest of the Philippines and Thailand, while simultaneously developing a green certification and access to financing
