Resumen
- Recent volcanic eruptions have provided first-hand data far the study of «pyroc/astic» deposit mechanisms. This study adds to the term «pyroc/astic» a depositional meaning. As a result of this expanded meaning, the term «pyroc/astic» is not only used far a fragmentation mechanism, but a/so far a way of emplacement. Taking into account the importance, of volcanic/astic deposits far basin analysis, we propase, when using the term «pyroc/astic», to c/early state the differences between fragmentation and emplacement mechanisms.
