Resumen de Panorama de la educación bibliotecológica en América Latina

La investigación titulada “la terminología de la bibliotecología en América Latina: un estudio comparativo”, busca llevar a cabo un análisis de la terminología de la bibliotecología utilizada en América Latina y presenta como uno de sus productos, una propuesta de armonización terminológica.
Adicionalmente, registra la evolución histórica del concepto de bibliotecología desde la Edad Antigua hasta el siglo XXI, además de generar una base de datos terminológica de la bibliotecología en América Latina, de acuerdo con la información analizada en las estrategias de investigación documental y comparativa. Otro de los objetivos que se definen para dicha investigación, se centra en explorar el panorama formativo de la bibliotecología en América Latina y ubicar las tendencias más representativas desde las dimensiones de orden administrativo, temático, académico, investigativo, docente, de emprendimiento, de proyección social, entre otras. Por tanto, esta comunicación se enfoca en describir las tendencias anteriormente referidas.

The research entitled "terminology of librarianship in Latin America: a comparative study" seeks to carry out an analysis of terminology of librarianship used in Latin America and has as one of its products, a proposal for terminological harmonization. Additionally, it records the historical evolution of the concept of librarianship from the Ancient Age to the XXI century, in addition to generating a terminology database of librarianship in Latin America, according to the information analyzed in the strategies of documentary and comparative research. Another of the objectives defined for such research, focuses on exploring the educational landscape of librarianship in Latin America and locate the most representative trends from the dimensions of administrative, thematic, academic, research, teaching order, entrepreneurship, projection social, among others. Therefore, this communication focuses on describing the abovereferenced trends.
