A adolescência é um período desenvolvimentista vulnerável ao surgimento de pensamentos/ comportamentos autodestrutivos. Este fenómeno é complexo e multideterminado sendo necessária a intervenção ao nível individual mas também sistémico e, em particular, familiar. Tendo em conta a dificuldade de abordagem da temática da morte, pretende-se, com o presente manuscrito, sistematizar as principais variáveis de intervenção familiar, bem como as especifidades da relação terapêutica e das ressonâncias do terapeuta na intervenção clínica.

Adolescence is a developmental period vulnerable to the emergence of self-destructive thoughts / behaviors. This phenomenon is complex and multidetermined and requires intervention at the individual but also systemic and, in particular, family level. Given the difficulty of approaching the theme of death, this manuscript intends to systematize the main family intervention variables, as well as the specifics of the therapeutic relationship and the therapist’s resonances in clinical intervention.
