Resumen de 40 años del Teatre Lliure

El Teatre Lliure es una de las instituciones teatrales más importantes de Cataluña y España, además de un claro referente a nivel europeo. En este artículo estudiamos las confluencias y el contexto histórico que propiciaron sus inicios en 1976, así como las diferentes etapas que han marcado su trayectoria hasta hoy. También señalaremos la importancia del trabajo en equipo en la formación de la compañía del Lliure, así como de las personalidades de Fabià Puigserver y Lluís Pasqual, entre otros, para entender la evolución del Lliure en el transcurso de estas cuatro décadas.

The Theatre Lliure is one of the most important theatrical institutions of Catalonia and Spain, in addition to a clear reference at European level. In this article, we study the confluences and the context that led to its beginnings in 1976 as well as the different stages that have marked its trajectory until today. We will also point out the importance of teamwork in relation to the Lliure’s theatrical company as well as the importance of Fabià Puigserver and Lluís Pasqual, among others, and the gestation of the Lliure and its evolution over the course of these four decades.
