Resumen de Los magazines matinales en la televisión pública española (1987-2019): las transformaciones de un formato dinámico

  Los magazines matinales son uno de los formatos más característicos de la televisión. Desde la inauguración de esta franja horaria a finales de los 80, estos espacios han ido evolucionando con el paso del tiempo para adaptarse a los cambios de tendencia del paradigma televisivo y a la evolución tecnológica. Esta investigación busca entender las transformaciones experimentadas por el formato, mediante el análisis de contenido cuantitativo y cualitativo y las entrevistas en profundidad, así como dirimir en qué medida ha influido la televisión pública en la evolución de los magazines matinales. Los resultados muestran cómo se ha pasado del formato contenedor más clásico a un enfoque centrado en las tertulias, la información de actualidad y las conexiones en directo. Sin embargo, podría estar a punto de producirse un retorno a los orígenes, que encabezaría TVE que como televisión pública sería menos dependiente de la audiencia.

  Morning magazines are one of the most distinctive formats in television. Since the opening of this daypart in the late 1980s, these spaces have evolved over time to suit the changing trend of the television paradigm and technological evolution. This research seeks to understand the transformations that the format has undergone, through the quantitative and qualitative content analysis and in-depth interviews, as well as to determine to what extent public television has influenced the development of morning magazines. The results reveal a shift from the more classic container format to a focus on talk shows, breaking news and live connections. However, a return to the origins, which would lead TVE as a public television broadcaster and therefore less dependent on the audience, could be on the verge
