Resumen de Design Concept Selection Using Spreadsheet Analysis
The advantages of using proprietary spreadsheet packages to aid the selection of optimum design concepts was investigated. A review of current usage of spreadsheet analysis and design decision support methods is followed by a detailed description of the development of the spreadsheet program. An example of the use of the program is given to explain and illustrate the main features of this approach to concept selection. Finally, the advantages of using spreadsheet analysis are outlined.
