Las revueltas en Egipto en 2011, que provocaron la abdicación del ex presidente Mubarak, ha dado paso a un periodo de dominio islamista del panorama político del país. La nebulosa islamista, que ha sido capaz de unir sus fuerzas para imponer un presidente islamista – perteneciente a la Hermandad Musulmana - se ha mostrado posteriormente como un grupo mucho menos cohesionado, apreciándose un abanico de tendencias que es conveniente estudiar con un cierto detalle. Por otro lado, los conflictos sectarios, crecientes tras las revueltas de 2011, muestran las complicadas relaciones interreligiosas que se producen en Egipto, todo ello en un ambiente que se puede calificar de volátil e incierto.

The revolts in Egypt in 2011 that provoked the abdication from the former president Mubarak, opened the way to a period of Islamism domain on the political panorama of the country. The Islamism nebula that has been able to unite their forces to encumber a islamist president -belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood- has shown itself later on like much less cohesive group, to be it appreciated a range of the tendencies, that it is opportune to study with certain detail. On the other hand, the sectarian conflicts, growing after the revolts of 2011, shows the complicated panorama of inter-religion taking place in Egypt, everything in an atmosphere that can be describe as volatile and uncertain.
