    Este trabajo tiene por objeto analizar la interrelación entre el Derecho Alimentario Europeo y el Derecho Ambiental, a nivel internacional, a nivel europeo y a nivel estatal. En particular se pretende demostrar que, aunque el Derecho Alimentario se entienda como el conjunto de normas y principios tendentes a garantizar la seguridad alimentaria y la calidad de los alimentos, se ha tener en cuenta la variable del Derecho del medio ambiente en la legislación alimentaria europea.

    Para ello nos centraremos en el Reglamento (CE) 178/2002, del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 28 de enero de 2002, que es el pilar fundamental del Derecho Alimentario de la Unión Europea

    The content of this work is an analysis of the relationship between the European Food Law and the Environmental Law at international, European and State level. In particular is intended to demonstrate that although the Food Law is understood as the set of rules and principles tending to guarantee food safety and food quality, the Environmental Law variable has to be taken into account in the European Food legislation.

    We will focus on Regulation (EC) 178/2002, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 28 January 2002, which is the fundamental pillar of the European Food law of the European Union.
