The search for truth is the latent or obvious end of Michele Prisco’s narrative where truth appears elusive and unreachable, thinkable but not knowable. The criteria of truth proposed by philosophy don’t allow firm holds; the impressions provided by the senses are fallacious. Perhaps, only the sense of touch can provide some correspondence between emotional states and truthful messages, or perhaps it is memory that awakens tatters of the past through the sensory stimuli of the present. Therefore, Prisco’s understanding of truth remains always open.

La ricerca della verità è il fine latente o manifesto della narrativa di Michele Prisco; una verità che si presenta sfuggente e inarrivabile, pensabile ma non conoscibile. I criteri di verità elaborati dalla filosofia non consentono saldi appigli; le impressioni fornite dai sensi si rivelano fallaci.
