  Humberto Maturana, biólogo y Premio Nacional de Ciencias (1994) y Ximena Dávila, epistemóloga y orientadora en relaciones familiares y organizacionales, visitaron Chillán el año 2014 para sostener un encuentro con profesores de la provincia de Ñuble, Chile. Maturana, creador de la noción de autopoiesis u organización de lo vivo, y Dávila, creadora del conversar liberador orientado al dolor y sufrimiento humano; juntos hace más de una década, fundaron la “Escuela Matríztica”, un centro de investigación reflexiva sobre lo humano en y desde la biología-cultural.

  La entrevista se desarrolló el 28 de septiembre de 2014, por el espacio de noventa minutos. Realizó la entrevista, María Loreto Mora Olate, Magíster en Educación y docente de la Facultad de Educación y Humanidades de la Universidad del Bío-Bío. En esta conversación Maturana y Dávila abordan, en primer lugar, el tema de la comprensión lectora y su vínculo con el convivir, y en segundo término, ellos comparten susapreciaciones acerca del proceso de Reforma educacional que experimenta Chile.   Humberto Maturana, biologist and National Science Award (1994) and Ximena Dávila, epistemologist and expert on family and organizational relationships, visited Chillán in 2014 for a meeting with teachers in the province of Ñuble, Chile. Maturana, creator of the concept of autopoiesis or organization of the living, and Davila, creator of the liberating conversation focused on human pain and suffering; both together, for more than a decade, founded the “Escuela Matríztica”, a reflective research center on the human in and from biology-culture. The interview took place on September 28, 2014, for the space of ninety minutes. The interview was conducted by Maria Loreto Mora Olate, Master in Education and professor at the Faculty of Education and Humanities of Universidad del Bío-Bío. In this conversation, Maturana and Dávila, address, first, the issue of reading comprehension and its link with the living, and secondly, they share their insights about the process of educational reform experienced by Chile.
