    Esta colaboración recoge la participación en la mesa redonda “Hungría y la Unión Europea, treinta años después (1989-2019)” en el marco de las jornadas de estudios y análisis “Los países de la Europa Centro-oriental y la Unión Europea, treinta años después (1989-2019)” organizadas por el Instituto de Estudios Europeos de la Universidad de Valladolid en Valladolid del 11 al 13 de diciembre de 2019. En ella, se explora, a través de algunos fragmentos, cómo las obras del escritor húngaro Péter Eszterházy (1950-2016) “Armonía celestial” (2003) y “Versión corregida. Apéndice a Armonía celestial” (2005) dan cuenta de la fractura social causada por el Estado policial que el régimen comunista impuso en Hungría entre 1945 y 1989 a través de la figura de su propio padre, símbolo de la dinastía e informador de los servicios policiales.

    This paper is the contribution to the pannel "Hungary and the European Union, thirty years later (1989-2019)" within the framework of the study and analysis seminar "The countries of Central- Eastern Europe and the European Union, thirty years later (1989-2019) ”organized by the Institute of European Studies of the University of Valladolid in Valladolid from December 11 to 13, 2019. It explores, through some fragments, how the work of the Hungarian writer Péter Eszterházy (1950-2016) "Celestial Harmony" (2003) and "Corrected version. Appendix to Celestial Harmony ”(2005) give account of the social fracture caused by the police state that the communist regime imposed on Hungary between 1945 and 1989 through the figure of its own father, symbol of the dynasty and informant of the police services.
