    La Eucaristía es, no por casualidad, el lugar por excelencia del encuentro con el Resucitado y, por lo tanto, la fuente y la cumbre de la vida espiritual. La serie actual, que consta de dos artículos, el primero que presentamos hoy, explica la función del sacerdocio y el sacrificio atendiendo a las peculiaridades de cada uno de los tres sacramentos que implican estas funciones, el bautismo, el orden y la Eucaristía, haciendo énfasis la forma en que cada uno de ellos contribuye a la santificación de todos los miembros de la Iglesia.

    The Eucharist is, not by chance, the place par excellence of the encounter with the Risen One, and therefore the source and the summit of the spiritual life. The present series, which consists of two articles, the first of which we present today, explains the function of the priesthood and the sacrifice attending to the peculiarities of each of the three sacraments that these functions imply, baptism, order and Eucharist, making emphasize the way in which each of them contributes to the sanctification of the whole members of the Church.
