La eumeneis elenchoi socrática como fundamento de la pedagogía de la paz en Colombia

    Nuestra propuesta de una Pedagogía de la Paz inspirada en la tradición eléntica y gadameriana se funda en la categoría de la EUMENEIS ELENCHOI. En efecto, se trata de una línea de investigación que hemos alimentado a partir de la dialogicidad hermenéutica gadameriana (Mora-García, 2008) y que ha servido hoy, para aplicarla a la Pedagogía de la Paz como ejemplo de resiliencia en la mediación en situaciones problemáticas y conflictos. Es una dialogicidad mediada por la re-habilitación que Gadamer hace de la eumeneîs élenchoi como el “arte de reforzar el discurso del otro” en el que se esté dispuesto incluso negarse a sí mismo en beneficio del Otro.

    Se concluye que No es suficiente tener la razón en el ejercicio del diálogo de Paz, hay que demostrar que se está dispuesto a dialogar en función de un fin superior. Se concluye que el Acuerdo Final de Paz en Colombia se pudo evidenciar la aplicación de este principio, al lograr que las víctimas se sentaran con los victimarios a dialogar, en aras de una paz estable y duradera

    Our proposal for a Pedagogy of Peace inspired by the authentic and Gadamerian tradition is based on the category of the EUMENEIS ELENCHOI. Indeed, it is a line of research that we have fed from Gadamerian hermeneutic dialogicity (MoraGarcía, 2008) and that has served today, to apply it to the Pedagogy of Peace as an example of resilience in mediation in situations problems and conflicts. It is a dialogicity mediated by the re-habilitation that Gadamer makes of the eumeneîs élenchoi as the “art of reinforcing the discourse of the other” in which one is willing to even deny oneself for the benefit of the Other.

    It is concluded that it is not enough to be right in the exercise of the Peace dialogue, it must be shown that one is willing to dialogue for a higher purpose. It is concluded that the Final Peace Agreement in Colombia was evidenced by the application of this principle, by getting the victims to sit down with the victimizers to dialogue, for the sake of a stable and lasting peace.
