    El presente documento se inscribe en un trabajo de enfoque cualitativo, dentro de un diseño documental, con nivel descriptivo, el cual tuvo como objetivo general: describir la figura de e-gobierno, como una transformación gubernamental en Venezuela. Este documento investigativo, se origina por considerar si el e-gobierno, es fuente de modernización y transformación gubernamental en Venezuela, basado en la reflexión de las normas que regulan el e-gobierno en Venezuela y los beneficios y desventajas a los que debe enfrentarse tal figura dentro de la administración pública. Esta investigación ha utilizado como fuentes de análisis de la información: la Constitución de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, La Ley de Infogobierno, el Decreto 825, entre otras. Se finiquita que en Venezuela existe de manera teórica la figura de e-gobierno dentro de la gestión pública venezolana, enumerándose algunas ventajas que conlleva la usanza de la estrategia del paradigma de la Nueva Gestión de Gobierno por medio de la figura del e-gobierno en la República.

    This document is part of a qualitative approach work, within a documentary design, with a descriptive level, which had the general objective: to describe the figure of e-government, as a governmental transformation in Venezuela. This investigative document originates from considering whether e-government is a source of government modernization and transformation in Venezuela, based on the reflection of the norms that regulate e-government in Venezuela and the benefits and disadvantages that such must face. figure within the public administration. This research has used as sources of information analysis: the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Infogovernment Law, De cree 825, among others. It is concluded that in Venezuela the figure of e-government exists within the Venezuelan public management, listing some advantages that the use of the strategy of the New Government Management paradigm entails through the figure of e-government in the Republic.
