Resumen de La Revolución de 1868 vista desde un municipio sevillano

  En este artículo se realiza un análisis de la experiencia revolucionaria de un municipio sevillano (Olivares) durante la “Gloriosa” de 1868. Partiendo de las investigaciones existentes, y con una metodología enfocada en el microanálisis histórico o historia local y en el tiempo corto, se ha buscado una reconstrucción de sus actuaciones interrelacionándolas con la actividad en otros municipios, especialmente respecto a la junta revolucionaria de la capital hispalense, dado la importancia de la misma y su influencia en toda la provincia. Como resultado se aprecian las relaciones territoriales de poder en el nuevo orden revolucionario, así como la importancia del mantenimiento del orden local y la política religiosa, con matices en comparación a otros municipios.

  This article analyzes the revolutionary experience of Olivares (Seville) during the ‘Gloriosa’ revolution of 1868. For the study, previous investigations have been taken into account and a methodology based on microanalysis or local history, and a short time has been used. This paper intends to reconstruct the actions of the local revolutionary Junta de Olivares, interrelating it with the activity taken in other municipalities, especially with respect to the revolutionary Junta de Sevilla, given its importance and its influence throughout the province. As a result, territorial power relations in the new revolutionary order, as well as the importance of maintaining local order and religious policy, compared with other municipalities have been highlighted.
