    The end of World War II gave way to a complicated structure of division into two blocks, whose border was located in Germany defeated by the Allies.

    From that division the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic were born. It was not until the fall of the Berlin Wall that Germany became a single Nation again. In this paper we will discuss what happened in both republics years before and after their reunification to understand the final outcome of the current Federal Republic of Germany.
