  Como continuación a un trabajo anterior de los mismos autores sobre la identificación de las fases cristalinas formadas en cinco composiciones del sistema P^O.-Al^O -LkO se completa ahora su estudio por espectroscopia infrarroja. Esta técnica ha proporcionado una información complementaria acerca de la existencia de fases vítreas y del grado de cristalinidad de algunas fases cristalinas que no ofrecía el método difractométrico. Los efectos térmicos que presentan las curvas de A. T. D. confirman las transformaciones cristalinas del PO.,Al acusadas en las curvas de dilatación térmica.

  The ideíitification of the crystalline phases formed by heating five composition within the system P^O.-ÁljO.-LiJD was reported in a previous paper. The study of those compositions by means of infrared spectrography and D. T. A. has been the object of the present investigation. The infrared spectrography has been very valuable in obtaining additional information on the existence of vitreous phases, and on the degree of crystallinity of several crystal phases, which were not very obvious from the diffractometric study. The thermal effects shown by D. T. A. confirm the existence of the crystal transformations of PO^Al which are apparent from its thermal expansion beliaviour.
