Resumen de ¿Intelecto o sentimiento?: un acercamiento al vínculo entre juicios fácticos y juicios de valor en Hermann Heller a través de la metodología weberiana

  El propósito de este artículo es indagar el vínculo metodológico que Heller postula entre juicios fácticos y juicios de valor valiéndonos para ello dela obra de Weber. Sostenemos que en su concepción puede hallarse un doble posicionamiento frente a la metodología weberiana. Por un lado, se observa una ruptura con los supuestos epistemológicos que informan la distinción entre hechos y valores. Por otro lado, existe una continuidad mediante el establecimiento dela honestidad intelectual como deber científico. A través de esta preocupación por la conducta del sujeto de conocimiento, ambos autores pueden postular, a pesar de hacerlo sobre cimientos teóricos distintos, una diferencia fundamental entre aquellos postulados que se dirigen al “intelecto” y buscan la verdad empírica y aquellos postulados que se dirigen al “sentimiento” y buscan interpelarla voluntad de los hombres

  The aimoft his article is to research the methodological link between factual judgments and value judgments in Heller through Weber’s work. We argue that in Heller’s conception exists a double positioning in front of Weber’s methodology. On the one hand, we can see a break with the epistemological assumptions that inform the distinction between facts and values. On the other hand, we can see a continuity through the establishment of intellectual honesty as a scientific duty. Through this concern of subject’s behaviour, Heller and Weber can argue, despite of different theoretical grounds, a fundamental difference between statements that are addressed to the “understanding” and aimed to find the empirical truth, and statements that are addressed to the “sentiments” and aimed to movethe men’s will
