In this work has been analysed the 1993-1994 Adra seismic sequence characterized by two mainshocks of magnilude 5.0 and 4.9. The local neotectonic, aftershock distribution and fault plane solutions are performed and we find significant relations between them this seismic sequence respond to a "compound earthquake mechanism" caused by the reactivation of a N 170 E fault (second mainshock mb: 4.9) as a result of the first mainshock (mb: 5.0) asociated to a N 135 E oblique slip fault. The aflershock activity is acumulated into a fault bounded crustal block as a result of the field stress readjustment and changes in the pore pressure triggered off by the two mainshocks.
