A transição democrática e a memória da ditadura militar

    In this paper, I develop an analysis of memory and see how the pursuit of defining the meanings of the past, the society can also configure memory conflicts. The Amnesty Commission, established in 2001, brought to the social agenda in a more meaningful way, through the State, to discuss the issue of military dictatorship, hitherto little present in Brazilian society and that still remains on the agenda, along with the advancing movements of transitional justice. The memory of the military dictatorship was outlined over the years that have passed since its end. There are several elements that can interfere with the formation of a collective memory, including film, literature, historiography and memory locations. This article seeks to understand those factors that affect the collective memory about the Brazilian dictatorship and analyzes the approach taken by these factors in order to favor an approach by the dictatorship of torture , repression , state violence and armed struggle bias, rather fights "democratic freedoms" locked from the second half of the 1970s, seeking to help answer the question of what the place of democratic transition in memory of the military dictatorship.

    Neste artigo, busco desenvolver uma analise da memória e perceber como na busca de definição dos sentidos do passado, a sociedade também pode apresentar conflitos. A memória sobre a ditadura militar foi constituída socialmente ao longo destes anos que se passaram desde seu fim e recebeu a influência de diversos elementos como o cinema, a literatura, a historiografia e os lugares de memória. Este artigo busca compreender estes elementos que incidem sobre a memória coletiva a respeito da ditadura brasileira e busca analisar o enfoque dado por estes fatores de forma a privilegiar uma abordagem da ditadura pelo viés da tortura, repressão, violência do Estado e luta armada, em detrimento das lutas “pelas liberdades democráticas” travadas a partir da segunda metade da década de 1970, buscando contribuir para a resposta à questão sobre qual o lugar da transição democrática na memória sobre a ditadura militar.
