Resumen de O cangaço na literatura de cordel e a busca por uma identidade regionalista do nordeste (1950-1980)

  This project to relate the theme of banditry, discussed in cordel literature, the establishment of a regionalist identity of the Northeast from the 1950s and 1980s. For the development of this article will present the northeastern socio-political context of the early twentieth century, this environment responsible for the emergence of regionalist discourses, supported by its defense and preservation of regional traditions strictly. The treatment of these aspects is configured indispensable for the establishment of relations between the conservative culture of the Northeast and the figure of the bandits, the latter presented as regional symbols of courage, bravery and valor. Thus, attention to the identification of the northeastern reader twine to these attributes inherent to the main representatives of the highwaymen, allowing the recognition of these receptors to the same qualities of outlaws reproduced these popular verses.   Este trabalho tem como objetivo relacionar a temática do cangaço, abordada na literatura de cordel, à constituição de uma identidade regionalista do Nordeste entre as décadas de 1950 e 1980. Para o desenvolvimento deste artigo apresentarei o contexto políticosocial nordestino das primeiras décadas do século XX, ambiente esse responsável pela emergência dos discursos regionalistas, apoiados em sua defesa e preservação das tradições estritamente regionais. O tratamento desses aspectos se configura indispensável para o estabelecimento de relações entre a cultura conservadora do nordestino e a figura dos cangaceiros, esses últimos apresentados como símbolos regionais de coragem, bravura e valentia. Desse modo, atento para a identificação do leitor nordestino do cordel a esses atributos inerentes aos principais representantes do cangaço, possibilitando o reconhecimento desses receptores às mesmas qualidades dos cangaceiros reproduzidas nesses versos populares. Permitindo, da mesma maneira, o recrudescimento de um sentimento de pertença, por parte do nordestino, aos valores tradicionais da sua região
