First possible hybrid between Egretta garzetta x Bubulcus ibis in the Balearics. A bird with intermediate traits of Little Egret and Cattle Egret Egretta garzetta x Bubulcus ibis, possibly a hybrid, has been observed for the first time in the Balearics. The bird which was present during the winters of 2017 and 2018-19 in the Bay of Palma (Mallorca) is described and photographs provided.

Possible primer cas d’un híbrid d’Egretta garzetta x Bubulcus ibis a Balears. S’observa per primera vegada a les Balears, una au que presenta característiques intermèdies entre agró blanc i esplugabous, Egretta garzzetta x Bubulcus ibis, possiblement híbrid, a la badia de Palma (Mallorca, Illes Balears) durant els hiverns de 2016-17 i 2018-19. Es descriu l’au i s’aporten nombroses fotos.
