  • Resumen
    • This article looks at the increasing integration of IT in teaching and learning within the Department of Archaeology at the University of Durham over the past five years, and considers the factors which have influenced this process. These factors include both support and changes at departmental, institutional and national level. The successes and problems that have occurred through the integration of IT into the curriculum are analysed, and it is hoped that other departments will be able to learn from these experiences. The need to extend the provision that encouraged these developments, in order to enable the further integration of use of IT into teaching and learning, is also considered.
