    The purpose of this contribution is to examine the scope of the extraterritorial character of the General Data Protection Regulation and to analyze a specific issue in this context, namely the question of how a third state should deal with this extraterritorial character. To this end, it is necessary to consider the extraterritorial, normative, and enforcement jurisdiction of states or, more specifically in this case, of supranational entities such as the European Union

    La présente contribution se propose d’examiner la portée du caractère extraterritorial du Règlement général sur la protection des données et d’analyser une problématique spécifique dans ce contexte, la question de savoir comment un État tiers de l’Union doit appréhender ce caractère extraterritorial. Pour cela, il convient de s’interroger sur la compétence extraterritoriale, normative et d’exécution des États ou plus précisément dans le cas d’espèce d’entités supranationales telles que l’Union européenne
