The construction and restoration of the 3D geometrical model of the studied area, between the Esera and Cinca valleys, allowed us to (!) evaluate the geometrical consistency of the interpretation of the seimic dataset, (2) quantify the finite displacement and rotation fields and (3) validate it with available paleomagnetic data. From this, we suggest a new structural framework for the area, in which a major part of the shortening (80%) and differential rotations between the Mediano anticline and Foradada area (20°) is accommodated by Los Molinos thrust. The latter is showing a strike slip component of at least 7 km +/-2 and corresponds, to a lateral ramp of the South-Central Pyrenean Unit (sensu Seguret, 1972).
